where are the ‘mini-radars’ and the hours and roads to avoid

The first Operation Exit of this summer begins. The interior of Spain burns with temperatures that widely exceed 30ºC and in everyone’s mind there is only one idea: holidays to flee from the heat in any place with sea. Thus, from the early afternoon of this Friday, the large cities have begun to empty of drivers heading to the coast, causing traffic jams on the exit roads.

The DGT has already made figures: they are expected 89.3 million trips this summer -43.6 million in July and 45.7 million in August-, with the Mediterranean coast as the main destination.

The first withholdings have been given to the 15 hours from today on Madrid (A-3 Rivas, A-4 Pinto, A-1 Alcobendas, M-50 Paracuellos del Jarama due to an accident, M-40 Coslada and in Pozuelo towards the Pardo tunnels in the A-1 direction), Barcelona (Badia del Valléz, Tarrasa and at the entrance to the city of Barcelona on C-58), Valencia (A-3 direction Alicante and V30 in Quart de Poblet), Sevilla (accident on the A-3 near Dos Hermanas), Cadiz (A-4 Puerto Real, towards San Fernando) and Málaga (A-7 in San Pedro de Alcántara and in Arroyo de la Miel towards Cádiz).

First great getaway of the summer with fuel through the roof

the interior minister, Fernando Grande-Marlaskahas presented this week the agreed package of measures to guarantee the safety of drivers during the operation out of 2018. There will be three special operations, which will coincide with the dates on which a greater influx on the roads is expected: the first of the summer -from this Friday, June 29 to July 1-the first of August operation -from July 31 to August 1- and the return operation -From August 31 to September 2-.

EL ESPAÑOL prepares a manual in which it compiles the information that will help you not to despair behind the wheel this summer: where are they hiding mini stealth radars that they fry fines for Spanish drivers? Which are the roads and hours to avoid so as not to get stuck in traffic? What days Will there be more trips?

Mini velolaser radars: These are 60 devices controlled by the Civil Guard and operational since May of this year. They are considered undetectable due to their small size and their remote control system, but EL ESPAÑOL has been able to find out the location of 57 of these radars.
