While AMD officially announced ZEN4, rumors of a CPU with 3D V-Cache have also been confirmed.
The so far known ZEN4 3D V-Cache CPU is not expected to have a lower CPU clock, unlike the CPU roadmap and the 5800X3D, which is expected to be released later this year or early next year. In the case of the ZEN4, it was feared that only the R7 7800X3D would be released on its own, but more diverse CPUs were expected to be released.
The news is a tweet from Greymon55, which mentions / leaks various information about the rumors before the release of the product, and it has been reported that two X3D models with 12C and 16 cores are in preparation.
3D V-Cache CPUs with up to 16 cores are expected to be released, such as 8 cores, 12 cores and 16 cores. Performance hasn’t been mentioned yet, but as the 5800X3D offers higher gaming performance than the latest ZEN4 CPU, the ZEN4 3D V-Cache model should also have very high gaming performance.
The release date is expected in the first quarter of next year. Since the release of the Intel i9 13900KS is expected early next year, it is assumed that it is trying to respond accordingly with a gaming CPU.
