Valencia

Valentino Rossi will have his ultimate race in MotoGP. Prior to that, Rossi showed off nine motorbikes that took him to become world champion.

After a quarter century of a career in the world of motorcycle racing, Rossi finally decided to retire when MotoGP 2021 finished. The 2021 Valencia MotoGP race at Riccardo Tormo, Sunday (11/14/2021) tomorrow night, will be the last time.

Therefore, it is natural that the series feels special for Rossi and all his fans especially. There will be no more captivating The Doctor’s actions on the track and off the track that have brought MotoGP to life.

Rossi is a living legend of MotoGP with all the achievements he got. Since his debut in the 125cc class in 1996, Rossi has always been able to become world champion, including the first in 1997 with Aprilia.

Up to 250cc in 1998, Rossi became world champion in 1999. Only then did he move up to MotoGP/500cc in 2000. His debut with Honda also led to his first MotoGP world title in 2001, which continued into 2002 and 2003.

After that, Rossi decided to move to Yamaha 2004 and his career was getting brighter. He won four world titles from 2004, 2005, 2008, and most recently 2009.

Rossi has won a total of nine world titles, only losing to Giacomo Agostini (15 titles) and Angel Nieto (13 titles). Therefore there is a special celebration to release Rossi’s departure from MotoGP, Thursday (11/10).

During the relaxed press conference session, Rossi also brought along all the motorcycles that had led him to become world champion, from Aprilia, Honda and Yamaha. Complete with number 46 on the front of the motorbike.

“I have all the world champion bikes at home, even in my room, except for the Honda. But seeing them all right now makes me so emotional. It feels like a long time since my first world title, and if you count from my last world champion MotoGP (2009), so it’s been 10 years! It’s been a long time and it’s very emotional,” he said Valentino Rossi as quoted Crash.

“The Honda 500 is the bike the manufacturer has to give me. I had everything ready but then it never arrived. I would be happy if they could give it to me, I will take care of it.”
