GIACARTA, KOMPAS.com – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) took the time to meet friends from college between his business visits to Yogyakarta, Sunday (10/16/2022) morning. The moment happened in a café, the Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel.
One of Jokowi’s college colleagues at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) named Erwansyah said the meeting was not planned at all. This is because the meeting of Erwansyah and nine of his friends who were from the class of 1980 was actually to welcome the anniversary of the UGM at the end of October 2022.

“We gather for consolidation in order to invite contemporaries from outside Yogyakarta,” Erwansyah told Kompas.com after the event.

The surprising and unexpected moment was also used to meet and remember the old days of college. Stories from the past are told with smiles and laughter. Starting from the story in the classroom, in the campus area, up to the peaks of the mountains.
Erwansyah continued, the argument that he is currently engaged in the community cannot be separated from the discussion, which is the question that Jokowi’s diploma is fake.
“On the sidelines, we also mentioned the fake diploma. Yes, we just laughed, ”Erwansyah continued.
President Jokowi, according to Erwansyah, seemed very relaxed about addressing the issue that was believed to be a hoax.
The meeting, which lasted more than 30 minutes, had to end because President Jokowi wanted to continue other events. Meanwhile, Erwansyah and his friends continued the meeting according to the original plan.
