Petronas Yamaha racer, Fabio Quartararo, finished the MotoGP 2020 pre-season test at Sepang with a bang. He managed to record the fastest time for three days during the test.
Quartararo also failed to score hat-trick victory or rise to the podium in the third racing series MotoGP 2020.
Even so, the achievement of 9 points from the race in Brno ensured that Quartararo remained at the top of the drivers’ standings MotoGP 2020 with a collection of 59 points.
Regarding his failure to defend the top 3 positions and being overtaken by Valentino Rossi, Fabio Quartararo has his own reasons.
The French racer with the nickname El Diablo admitted that there were several factors that made him only able to finish in seventh position.
First, the tire problem. Then the second, the bad surface of Brno’s track.
“This is not an ordinary thing. Because, some riders were able to appear faster a few seconds on the last lap and Brad Binder won by a distance of five seconds,” said Quartararo, reported by BolaSport.com from Motosan.es.
“We have to see where the problem lies. We have seen other riders having problems too. Usually the difference is not that big, but this time it is very big.”
