“I had very bad stomach pains, I didn’t know what it was and it was only getting worse,” she explained on the antenna of the 7News channel at the end of May. “I was moaning very loudly, I was in so much pain”.
An ultrasound of the area quickly revealed that Emma was not sick. On the other hand, she was pregnant… almost 36 weeks!
“They did the abdominal scan and saw the spine and that’s when I asked them to look again because I didn’t believe it,” she added. “I said to the doctor, ‘I can’t have a baby, we don’t have enough room! “.
With the newborn’s heartbeat dropping, Emma was rushed for a caesarean section, where the child was born without complications.
Emma and her partner Aaron chose “Willow Rose” as their first name. She says it: this unusual pregnancy was “very different” from her first, when she welcomed her son William two years ago.
“I didn’t really notice that I had gained weight, I always wore the same clothes and they always fit me so well, so yeah, I didn’t feel anything at all,” she explained. . “With William, I learned of his existence at 11 weeks and I had nausea every day until 22 weeks, so it was completely different. The doctors told me that if I hadn’t felt it, it was because she could be sitting all the way back and the placenta was at the front, preventing any movement. »
Emma and Aaron are now looking for a larger home that can comfortably accommodate their family…
