Clashes broke out

Clashes between masses of pilgrims and demonstrators at the Heroes Cemetery, Kalibata resulted in car damage.

Crowds of pilgrims were also seen chasing public transport cars and hitting the glass of the car with bamboo until it broke.

“The car was destroyed carrying the demonstrators. The police and TNI broke up the clash,” added Iwan.
