The messaging app WhatsApp is reportedly preparing a new feature that will make group admins ‘more powerful’. This feature allows ‘mimin’ to delete any message for everyone.
As reported by detikInetTuesday (2/8/2022), the existence of this new feature was discovered by WABetainfo.
It is said that this feature will help admins manage WhatsApp groups better with the added ability to delete group messages for everyone.
This feature is only available to WhatsApp beta testers on Android version 2.22.17.12.
To check if the new feature is available, if you are a group admin try deleting incoming messages. If you see the “delete for everyone” option, it means this feature is already available.
Your name will always appear in the chat bubble when you delete messages sent by members. The goal is to let everyone know that you did it.
There is no information yet when this feature which is still in testing will be released to all users. Probably in the next few weeks.
