WhatsApp, the new function arrives: what it is and how to activate it for all users. It will be available to all Android owners enrolled in the Beta version
WhatsApp will soon make it easier for users look for something on its platform. The messaging app owned by Facebook is currently testing the functionality in beta.
The upgrade version of WhatsApp Android 2.20.198.7 features a small magnifying glass button in the lower left corner of the screen next to emoji, GIF, and sticker shortcut buttons.
Once clicked, a search bar will appear and some tabs that allow you to activate the advanced search.
In particular, you can find Photos, Videos, Links, Gifs, Audio and Documents, in a very simple and faster way than in the past. By selecting one of the labels and entering the name of the content you are looking for, WhatsApp will offer much more precise results.

WhatsApp, the new feature arrives: available for Android users
The feature is now ready to launch after several weeks of testing and a few too many postponements. For now it will only be available for beta users of WhatsApp on Android.
It may seem like a useless function, but in reality it will serve to simplify users’ lives, maximizing the effects and speed of searching for multimedia content.
Other features on which WhatsApp is working on are multi-device support and chat synchronization. This last feature, under development, may soon be available on the app. Thanks to the upgrade users can use their WhatsApp account on four devices at a time.
The platform will soon lead to synchronization of chats on devices iOS e Android.
