WhatsApp launches a beta version for Android tablets

There has been a lot of talk lately about WhatsApp, the first messaging app in the world, which continues to add features, tools and all kinds of improvements to retain its millions of users and prevent them from leaving for the competition (this which seems difficult to us In this sentence).

A few hours ago the application owned by Meta (Facebook) finally launched its version for Android tablets because, strange as it may seem, until now it was not possible to use the application natively on this type of device, which, inexplicably, it did not have its own version of the application.

This first version of WhatsApp for Android is still a very limited beta version, available only for a few users, with an interface similar to that of mobile phones, but the development team is expected to correct the errors and change this interface in the next few weeks to make it more functional for Android tablets.

This beta version will gradually be rolled out to more users and the final application launch won’t arrive until 2023, a launch that, according to this author, should have taken place a long time ago given its usefulness for all of us who use these devices.

WhatsApp redials itself

Connectivity issues aside, WhatsApp seems to have gotten together and pressed the accelerator to introduce many improvements for 2023. This week they released the beta version of the feature to send messages to yourself, a few days ago they announced the arrival of an official channel to announce their new features and in mid-November they started testing the companion mode to use the same account on two phones at the same time.

How do you see the steps Meta app is taking to improve?
