A few hours ago the application owned by Meta (Facebook) finally launched its version for Android tablets because, strange as it may seem, until now it was not possible to use the application natively on this type of device, which, inexplicably, it did not have its own version of the application.
This first version of WhatsApp for Android is still a very limited beta version, available only for a few users, with an interface similar to that of mobile phones, but the development team is expected to correct the errors and change this interface in the next few weeks to make it more functional for Android tablets.
This beta version will gradually be rolled out to more users and the final application launch won’t arrive until 2023, a launch that, according to this author, should have taken place a long time ago given its usefulness for all of us who use these devices.
