What would be the 56 teams in R1-R2 next season?

After meeting with the Amateur Football League, the Legal Department and the Competition Department of the FFF on Tuesday, the Mediterranean League revealed that it has made a request for an exemption for a single pool of R1 to 16 teams. Here is what, according to this assumption, the 16 teams of R1 and 40 of R2 next season.

Uneven R2 hens. In the minutes of the Management Committee of the Mediterranean League of April 21, we learned that two hypotheses were under consideration for R1 and R2. Either R1 championships with 16 teams and R2 with 40 teams (a group of 14 and two groups of 13) or R1 with 24 teams (two groups of 12) and R2 with 36 teams (three groups of 12). However, last night, the Mediterranean League communicated after exchanging with the LFA, the Legal Department and the Competition Department of the FFF. The regional body has made a request for exemption to have a pool of R1 to 16 teams. As a reminder, the Comex of April 16 only authorized hens up to 14.

The Provence district would have 8 representatives in R1 or half of the teams involved in the competition, one more than the previous season. The Var would be the big winner for 2020/2021. He would go from 3 to 5 clubs in R1 thanks to the climbs acquired sportingly by Six-Fours Le Brusc and ES Saint-Zacharie. 06 would lose a representative at the highest regional level. ES Cannet-Rocheville should enter N3 if the CRCC (regional body of the DNCG) authorizes it, the ROS Menton would be relegated to it. The Sp.C. Courthézon would remain as this season the only representative of the District Grand Vaucluse.
