At the end of August, night raids of traffic inspectors started throughout the republic to identify traffic offenders.

For a month – from August 25 to September 27 – over 435 thousand traffic violations were detected on the roads of Uzbekistan, almost half of them were gross. Most often, drivers were fined for not wearing a seat belt, for driving without documents, and for failing to comply with a traffic light. Also among the most frequent violations are non-observance of road signs and drunk driving.
During the reporting period, during night raids, over 27 thousand vehicles were sent to the impound.
