What separates the feminists of today and yesterday? – Politics

Karin Howard fought with Alice Schwarzer for equal rights, a liberal abortion law – and shocked the men with it. Today she looks rather irritated at the struggle of young women and asks herself: What is it actually about?

Von Marlene Knobloch, Los Angeles

How does it begin to become strangers? When they put their heads together 52 years ago in a tiny Munich apartment, grumbling about unequal wages, bad sex, and men in general, Karin Howard had hoped for more from the future, from society, from politicians.
