Antiviral drug “Remdesivir”
Canadian virologists have confirmed that the American antiviral drug Remdesivir can block coronavirus. It helps cells resist COVID-19 bacteria. However, so far the medicine cannot be tested in humans, since it must undergo clinical trials. Remdesivir has previously been used to treat Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and SARS-COV SARS. Both of these diseases are similar in structure to RNA with coronavirus.
