How do you know if you have this syndrome?

You can do this test: You lie on your stomach and try to lift one leg off the ground. If it is difficult to do this, it reflects muscle weakness in the buttocks. And besides having numb buttocks, we can also have Backache and feel pain that resembles that of sciatica because to compensate for the weakness of the buttocks, other muscles work more, such as those of the back and the hamstrings.


If you have to spend a lot of time sitting and are prone to this syndrome, you really need to try to get up every hour and take a few steps.. We also take the opportunity to contract his buttocks for ten seconds, at least three times. If possible, such as when working remotely, you can sit on a so-called dynamic seat cushion. It is slightly unstable and requires little movement. You can find them in sporting goods stores. Used a few hours a day, it counteracts numbness in the buttocks.

Train the weak glutes
