In total there are 2 million dollars that will be allocated to an emergency plan in which up to $ 1,500 will be distributed per person or family, and with which they will be able to pay the rent and basic expenses such as electricity or telephone.

“Applications start on May 4 and will be open for 5 days. If we receive 10,000 applications, we will close the list and make a draw, “said Mayor Francis Suárez.

The requirements to be eligible are:

- Live in the City of Miami.
–
- Earn less than $ 3,200 per month.
–
- Demonstrate that you lost your job due to the coronavirus.
–
If all the beneficiaries receive the maximum amount of $ 1,500, it will reach 1,300 people.
In no way can two people who live in the same house apply.
