Meanwhile, as a form of nationalism from retailers and industry for the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the Association of Retailers and Shopping Center Tenants (Hippindo) again held the 2021 Indonesian Discount Shopping Day (HBDI).

This event will take place from 1-29 August 2021. Budihardjo explained that this event will be attended by around 300 retailers with 800 brands, including a number of associations that are members of the Hippindo ecosystem.

In addition to offline, various online programs are also held while providing attractive offers in the form of shopping discounts of up to 76 percent, special prices of IDR 76,000 or IDR 7,600, bazaar events, live bidding, webinars, and many more.

“For the Marketplace, there was a surprise on the 76th Indonesian Independence Day and there was a 76 percent discount. This program is very consistent to invite local entrepreneurs to join hands in an effort to accelerate Indonesia’s economic recovery by running this program,” said Budihardjo.
