The two know how to celebrate success with Werder!
With the ex-Sturm duo Ailton (48) and Ivan Klasnic (41), Bremen brought the championship and the cup to the Weser in 2004. On Sunday, the Werder legends were studio guests on “Die Lage der Liga XXL” on BILD TV, talked shop about the current attackers Marvin Ducksch (28) and Niclas Füllkrug (29) – dared a promotion tip.
Klasnic: “Werder will win the next two games. It’ll be enough. But they also have to come here in order to be promoted directly.” Ailton’s prognosis for the final table: “Bremen, Schalke, HSV. That is my hope.”

Looking at pictures from the doubles season, the Brazilian got a little moody. Ailton: “It was a mega time with Werder. Ivan and I scored a lot of goals. It is beautiful and emotional to see these pictures.”
The two want to experience such jubilant pictures after this season – with the help of Ducksch & Füllkrug. Ivan Klasnic: “Now it’s time for the ‘ugly birds’. They led the club out of the crisis and brought success. Werder is now the loser of the weekend. We hope that it will look different in two weeks and that we can celebrate.”
