Weird Modern Warfare glitch gives players unlimited XP

Call of Duty players have found a strange issue with Modern Warfare’s Trials mode, which apparently gives them free experience points (XP) to progress faster.

Call of Duty is known for its level progression system and despite a few changes to the classic Prestige model, Modern Warfare still requires players to unlock new weapons and accessories by earning XP.

It can often take a few games of Multiplayer or Warzone modes until you get enough EXP to level up, but some players seem to have found a way around the long grind.

Infinity Ward

It has been revealed that one of the Season 5 missions in Modern Warfare, which offers rewards for completing challenges within a certain time, offers players XP for failing the course.

The youtubeur Acez Gaming a highlighted this issue, adding that players could gain up to 22,000 XP in one minute if they have a double XP token enabled.

The content creator explained that just dying at a Sentry Turret after shooting a target in the new “Shooting Range” mission will reward you with three stars and a lot of XP.

Acez has shown that although he was told that his tryout failed, he somehow gave him the maximum reward after leaving the game. The YouTuber added that by simply repeating this process, it could be a revolutionary problem, offering players tons of free levels for little effort.

Although he claimed it was an “unlimited XP glitch,” he does use the trial tickets you unlock through multiplayer games, which means he’s not really unlimited.

However, the problem itself is still quite ridiculous and it is likely that Infinity Ward will be looking to fix this bug in a future update.
