WebinarGeek now serves American customers from New York

WebinarGeek, specializing in webinar software, opens a new office in New York. WebinarGeek hereby marks its physical presence in the US.

The search value of the global webinar market increased by 91% in 2021. The increasing demand for user-friendly webinar software has led to exponential customer growth for the Dutch webinar platform WebinarGeek. The expansion to a New York office supports this shift. This improves the customer experience for US customers.

Startup culture

New York is known for its emerging startup culture, as well as being one of the top talent-finding destinations and a vibrant IT industry. WebinarGeek plans to hire five people for sales and success management this year.

“We opened an office in NYC because I strongly believe in a local presence in a fast-growing market. To learn more about our prospects, customers and their specific needs to find the right proposition in the United States,” says Remco Treuren , CEO at WebinarGeek. “It also creates a bond of trust. And one more important thing, it will help us provide other time zones with our award-winning support.”

Growth in North America without venture capital funding

On the day the lease was signed, WebinarGeek welcomed the first 100 US customers. The expansion to America was realized without venture capital financing. For its move to the US, WebinarGeek received the award for Best Entry into the US from The Netherland-America Foundation. WebinarGeek expects the office to develop steadily over the next two years.

The Studio by Tishman Speyer flexible workspace is located in the Rockefeller Center Historic Landmark. The private office that WebinarGeek has purchased is 20m2, located on the 19th floor and overlooking the avenue of the Americas (6th ave).
