‘Webhelp’ expands operations in Daugavpils; plans to announce new vacancies

European digital services company Webhelp, which opened its office in January Daugavpils on the premises of the university, continues its development and currently has already hired 200 employees, informs the company’s representatives.

“We are pleasantly surprised by the positive reception in Daugavpils, where we managed to create and train a team of 200 employees in a relatively short time. We work in a dynamic and rapidly growing industry, where the demand for services is growing every day, so in summer we plan to announce “Good feedback from customers about the work of Daugavpils office serves,” says Jānis Misāns, Executive Director of Webhelp Latvia.

So far, this industry has developed rapidly in Riga, however, we see that there is potential in other Latvian cities for the development of such business centers. “The arrival of Webhelp in Daugavpils is a good example of the fact that qualified employees can be attracted outside Riga, not only in production, but also in the field of international business services,” emphasizes Reinis Āzis, LIAA’s Deputy Director for Investment Attraction.
