Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – Uncomfortable autumn weather with heavy gusts moves over Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. Wednesday begins with changeable clouds, which continue to increase over the course of the day, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach. From the west it comes to shower-like rain, in the higher mountains individual stormy gusts are possible. The temperatures reach a maximum of 18 to 29 degrees. In the night of Thursday, a storm draws in, with some heavy gusts of wind. In the mountains, the gusts can be hurricane-like.
On Thursday it will be mostly cloudy with showers and short thunderstorms. Heavy to hurricane-like gusts can move over the countries, which should gradually weaken in the afternoon. The maximum values are between 13 and 17 degrees.
