Mainz / Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) – The week starts stormy in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), there will be more thunderstorms with heavy rain, gusts of wind and hail from midday. Temperatures range from 21 to 25 degrees and around 19 degrees in the mountains. Tuesday night is expected to be cloudy at first, but it should also clear up.
According to the DWD, Tuesday will be cloudy and at times showery with increased precipitation. However, showers will decrease as the day progresses. The temperatures cool down slightly and reach values between 17 and 22 degrees and 16 degrees in the higher mountains. Wednesday night is expected to be rain-free.
