Frankfurt (dpa / lrs) – At the weekend, new snow is expected in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. According to the German Weather Service, it should snow from Saturday evening. On Sunday the snow in the west can partly turn into rain. The DWD cannot rule out freezing rain. That could again ensure smooth roads. During the day, the temperatures on Saturday and Sunday are around zero degrees. At night, temperatures can drop to minus six degrees, according to the DWD.
