Berlin. Cloudy, in the afternoon and evening partly rainy: This is the weather forecast from the German Weather Service (DWD) for Berlin and Brandenburg at the beginning of the week. It shouldn’t be bright and dry again until Wednesday.
After all, the partly gusty wind that was felt in Berlin and Brandenburg on Sunday is easing. The reason was a storm low in Scotland with an impact as far as Germany. Storm “Bella” raged in Great Britain – quite a few people had to leave their homes over Christmas. There were flood warnings by Sunday.

- Am Monday Heavily cloudy, in the afternoon and evening rain in some areas, rarely sleet. Maximum values 2 to 5 degrees. Weak southeast wind. In the night of Tuesday overcast and first sleet, later increasing snowfall. Increased risk of slipperiness. Lowest values +1 to -1 degrees. Weak winds from different directions.
- Am Tuesday very cloudy, snow or sleet moving northwards. In the second half of the day in southern Brandenburg and the Berlin area, larger loosening. Maximum values 2 to 6 degrees. Weak wind around south. In the night of Wednesday cloudy to very cloudy in the north, partly clear in the south and the middle with larger clearings. Mostly free of precipitation. In many places frost at lows between +1 and -2 degrees, increased risk of slipperiness. Weak south to southwest wind.
- Am Wednesday cloudy in the north-west, otherwise often clear and dry. Highs around 4 degrees. Weak south to southwest wind. In the night of Thursday at first slightly, later heavily cloudy in some areas and a little sleet. Lowest values between +2 and -1 degrees. Weak wind from southwest to south.
