WEATHER: Forecasts in Côte-d’Or for the start of the week

After a week partly in orange at the level of the heat wave, the department is back in the green but the temperatures remain high.

If the mercury is below 30 degrees throughout the Côte-d’Or department this Sunday, August 7, 2022, the start of the week has a few additional degrees in store for us.

According to Météo France, for example, it will be 30° in Dijon in the afternoon of Monday August 8th then 31° Wednesday August 10th. Moreover, Tuesday August 9 and Wednesday August 10, 30 degrees will again be reached or exceeded throughout the Côte-d’Or.

Heatwave episode less intense than the previous one, but lasting over the Rhône valley and around the Mediterranean.

Current situation

The weather is calm over the country.
Minimum temperatures last night were 24 degrees in Nimes and 23 in Avignon.

Expected evolution

The maximum temperatures expected for this Sunday afternoon are close to 34 to 37 degrees inland on the Mediterranean rim: in the Gard, 35 to 37 degrees are expected, locally 38 degrees south of the Cévennes.

For the Vaucluse department, the maximum temperatures are around 34 to 36 degrees in the west and south.

For the night from Sunday to Monday, the minimum temperatures are stationary and the maximum temperatures expected for the day of Monday are also stationary.
