Question # 1 | My 10 and a half year old daughter is asthmatic. I learned that cortisone can have a negative effect if you have COVID-19. Is it not advisable to use your pumps at this time? (Louisia)
Reply | “Currently, a person who has asthma must continue their treatments. We have talked a lot about medication, anti-inflammatory drugs, but as regards cortisone, as regards pumps, we must continue them because it is important, precisely, that the person does not develop a problem asthma right now, because it could make her more vulnerable to a viral infection, no matter which one. So it’s important to continue the treatments. ”
Question # 2 | Is it dangerous to order different items online from Amazon or Ebay and get these items contaminated when they get home? (Anne Groulx)
Reply | “We know that the virus can live for a while on surfaces, but between the time the virus leaves the warehouse and the package arrives at home … normal measures must be taken, especially now take a little more, but normally the virus did not survive, so it is still safe to use the online service. ”
It is not excluded to take the package with gloves, say, and leave it in a place for three days before opening it, in order to give yourself the best chance of avoiding contamination.
Question # 3 | I have to move in about a week. What precautions should be taken? (Louise St-Hilaire)

Reply | “If these are people who live in the same household, no problem, if we have a large enough plot and we can have a fire, that’s okay, but we don’t bring our friends over to make a fire.”
Question # 5 | I would like to know how the coronavirus affects the southern hemisphere? Why are there so few cases in Africa and Oceania? (Oscar Leal)
Reply | “The virus circulates around the planet depending on the intensity of transport.
