Today, Sunday, Sunday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 400 people recovering from the Corona virus will be discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovering according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 17539 cases to date.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson of the Ministry, stated that 1265 new cases have been proven positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the surveillance, investigation and necessary examinations conducted by the Ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 81 new cases.
“According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days of infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Coronavirus,” Mujahid said.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Sunday, is 65,188 cases, including 17539 cases that have been cured, and 2789 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow the situation first-hand regarding the “emerging corona” virus, and take all necessary precautions against any viruses or infectious diseases, and the ministry has allocated a number of means of communication to receive citizens’ inquiries about the emerging corona virus and infectious diseases Including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the “Health Egypt” application available on the phones.
