A Lévis resident who had been forgotten to say he had cancer is suing the Chaudière-Appalaches Integrated Health and Social Services Center, a family doctor and the Lévis-Métro medical clinic for 1.1M $.
According to Le Journal de Québec, the 47-year-old man underwent a virtual colonoscopy which revealed two cancerous lesions in 2015.
He was told he had cancer only 19 months later during an ultrasound.
At that time, his cancer had
greatly evolved, according to the application initiating proceedings filed in Court
