Ruby Rose talks for the first time about her departure as the lead actress on the series of The CW.
Actress Ruby Rose has been silent so far about the reason behind her departure from the series Batwoman. She announced earlier this year that she would retire as Batwoman after just one season and why was not announced at the time. Now she tells about it.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Rose said the decision stems in part from reflections she made at the time of the lockdown due to the coronavirus. She then had time to think and came to certain conclusions.

Thinking about life
“I had time in quarantine and in isolation to think about a lot of different things, including what I would like to achieve in life. And I think it was a great opportunity for me and the producers to discuss certain issues, ” Rose said.

Those conversations led to the conclusion that she had to stop. This was partly due to the fact that she had to go back to work quite soon after her injury on the set, which required surgery and returned to work ten days after that operation. She didn’t think that was a healthy idea at all, but she had to.
“Still, I love my experience on set and I’m proud of everyone who participated in it. I would also return to television in a minute, but it felt like the moment for me to take a break and fully recover. ”
