Russia will have to switch to diplomacy, the president said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that we are approaching the point where Russia will have to lay down its weapons and move to diplomacy.
He said this in his evening video message.
“The situation in the Donbas remains extremely difficult on the whole. The Russian army is trying to selectively gather superior forces to put more and more pressure on our defenders. There, in the Donbas, the maximum combat power of the Russian army has now been assembled. Severodonetsk, Lisichansk, Bakhmut, Avdeevka, Kurakhovo, Slavyansk and some other settlements remain key targets for the occupiers in this particular direction,” the president said.

Zelensky thanked the Ukrainian defenders and defenders who, despite the technical and in some places quantitative advantage of the occupiers, heroically hold the line.

As UNIAN reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the evening of May 30, during the offensive of the Ukrainian troops, the invaders suffered losses and retreated from the settlement of Nikolaevka, Kherson region.
