Water from Ivanovo artesian wells supplied to Simferopol

In the Republic of Crimea, water began to be supplied to the water supply system of Simferopol from the Ivanovo water intake, due to which the capital of the peninsula will receive another 25 thousand cubic meters of water per day. The head of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sergey Aksenov, launched the work of the new water conduit in the video bridge mode.

As part of the federal target program for the development of the peninsula, a new branch of a polyethylene water conduit with a length of 4.8 kilometers and a diameter of 800 millimeters was built from the Ivanovo water intake. After pressure testing and washing through this conduit, the first water went to the capital of Crimea.

“The whole range of works for water supply has been completed,” Vladimir Bazhenov, General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise “Water of Crimea”, reported. – Pumping units were checked, the water pipe itself was tested and flushed. We are ready to open the water locks. In the first day about 10 thousand cubic meters of water per day will be supplied from the Ivanovo water intake. We will make sure that all the mechanisms and the quality of the supplied water are working, and after that we will reach the planned parameters.

“We are confident that now we will have increased water reserves in all three reservoirs of Simferopol,” said the head of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sergei Aksyonov. “There is no environmental threat from the supply of water from these sources, which is confirmed by science. I am sure that now the situation will stabilize more and more every day.

Recall June 12 put into operation water conduit from Vilinsky underground water intake with a length of 70.7 kilometers and a diameter of 1200 millimeters. And now every day about 22 thousand cubic meters of artesian water are transferred to clean water tanks on Marshal Zhukov Street in Simferopol through the pumping stations “Zhavoronki” and “Merry”. It is mined from a depth of 74 meters and complies with SanPiNam mineralization, chemical and bacteriological indicators. Accordingly, it is precisely such a volume of water that is saved daily in the shallow Partizan reservoir.

After the Vilinsky and Ivanovsky water intakes are fully connected, Simferopol will begin to receive an additional 55 thousand cubic meters of water per day by the end of July – this is about a third of the daily volume of water consumed from three reservoirs in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan (153 thousand cubic meters). The project was implemented in such a way that the transfer of water from underground sources can be suspended at any time if the reservoirs of Simferopol are filled with natural sewage.

As previously reported by the Minister of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mikhail Khramov, a construction project of a water conduit of about 45 kilometers, along which to Simferopol from the Belogorsk reservoir, is also being considered will be thrown up to 80 thousand cubic meters of water per day.
