Watch the trailer for The Flash season 7 before its panel at DC FanDome

When the sixth season of The Flash ended in the middle of this year, the cliffhanger with Iris West in the mirror dimension was not what those responsible for the series had originally planned to dismiss that cycle of the series.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic The Flash had to suspend its filming in Vancouver in mid-March and, since the series has not yet managed to resume filming, those responsible for the program decided to shorten the sixth season and present an improvised ending.

But since there are already plans to start filming the seventh season of The Flash, the series makers planned to release the first preview of the new episodes as part of their panel on DC FanDome. However, that didn’t work out either and the trailer was leaked before the panel.

Obviously, this preview is built from material that was previously filmed for the sixth season but, as it was not completed before the pandemic, it will now be incorporated into the new cycle.

In that sense, most of the scenes revolve around Barry Allen’s loss of powers and the problems that Iris is facing in the Mirror Dimension. All while anticipating battles with Godspeed and Eva McCulloch.

Season 7 of The Flash plans to premiere in January in the United States and its panel at DC FanDome will take place this Saturday, August 22 at 5:54 p.m. (Chile time).
