The authority said it successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle 1,213,378 Captagon pills into the Empty Quarter port after it was found hidden inside a shipment (ports) received through the port, concealing the seized items. in door recesses.
He added that in the second attempt, the Jeddah Islamic Port Authority managed to thwart 1,215,353 Pentagon pills, which were found hidden in a cargo of concrete, after the pills were hidden inside bags of shipping.
The authority said that after the seizure operations were completed, coordination with the Directorate-General for Narcotics Control took place to ensure the arrest of the recipients of the seizures within the Kingdom, as they were arrested, numbering 6 people.
