Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – High cholesterol brings its own disaster for sufferers. It turns out that there are a number of diseases that are brought on by high cholesterol.
Cholesterol can actually be found naturally in all body cells. However, waxy substances such as fat, if there are too many levels, will cause serious illness, one of which causes coronary heart disease which can cause death.
If the levels are too high, cholesterol accumulates on the artery walls and over time will cause hardening of the arteries or atherosclerosis. There will be narrowing in certain areas of the arteries that should be responsible for feeding the heart.
