Two resort sites were soiled with garbage this weekend in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
Citizens who visited Mont Jacob as well as Lac-Kénogami left several garbage there: lobster, bottles, lunch scraps and even baby diapers.
These images have been shared on social media many times.
For the municipal councilor of the sector, Jimmy Bouchard, it is unthinkable that one should still remember the instructions when moving in a resort site.
He invites citizens to make an effort to preserve the beauty of these places. He also thanked the citizen who picked up the rubbish on the two sites.
However, Mr. Bouchard cannot confirm whether the culprits are tourists or citizens. He confirms that he receives complaints for this type of mischief every two weeks.
