Was forced to undress

Did not want to undress

In an audio and video message sent to her boyfriend before she was arrested, the model talked about Vitaliy Grechin (41), the rich Ukrainian-American who organized the nude stunt.

– The girls reminded them that we were in an Arab country and that we should not show up. Everyone was restless. But not fa * n. We were forced out on the balcony and took the pictures. Who knows what will happen now, Sotulenko said just before she was arrested.

Sotulenko criticized Grechin for allowing the daring images to be published on the Internet, which led to the arrest of almost the entire group in Dubai by the Dubai police.

It was expected that the women would be deported back to Ukraine on Monday, local time after Ukrainian authorities reached an agreement with the United Arab Emirates.

Sotulenko is the first of the models to speak after the incident. From The Instagram story her Monday night it looked like she is now back in Ukraine.

Vitaly Grechin has not yet commented on the case.

Positive corona test

Her lawyer on Tuesday reported that one of the women who was held in custody in Dubai, tested positive for the coronavirus.

– The consulate reported that one of the women became ill due to the coronavirus, and was kept separate during her stay. This was not Irina, her lawyer Oleksiy Nosov is said to have said, according to Australian News.

The lawyer has previously reported that the conditions in the cells were troublesome for those who were arrested. Hen announces that they did not have access by telephone and were not informed when they would be deported from the country.

In the United Arab Emirates, there are strict rules about nudity, and the models who posed naked initially risked up to six months in prison and fines of just over 10,000 kroner for obscene behavior.
