This was stated by the extraordinary Commissioner for the Covid emergency, Domenico Arcuri.
“Unfortunately, the outcome of today’s talks with Pfizer did not produce the effects we hoped for. In fact the company – added the extraordinary Commissioner – has informed us that also during the next week not only will the doses that have been unilaterally and without notice not delivered this week, equal to 29%, not be delivered in Italy it will be a slight further reduction in deliveries. Consequently, it was discussed which actions to take to protect Italian citizens and their health in all civil and criminal offices where this will be possible. It was unanimously agreed that these actions will be undertaken starting from the next few days in a unitary framework ”.
During the summit, the Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies Francesco Boccia thanked the regions for joining the joint legal action proposal jointly. “Tomorrow, thanks to the decision taken at this meeting, we will activate the litigation through the State’s advocacy”, underlined Boccia.
