The British Defense Minister believes that now “the reputation of this great Russian army has been undermined.”
Russia has become a “less significant country” as a result of the invasion of Ukraine.
This was stated by British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace in an interview with Sky News.
“President Putin is no longer the force he used to be. Now he is a man in a cage that he himself built. His army is exhausted, he has suffered significant losses,” he said.
The Minister of Defense also believes that now “the reputation of this great Russian army has been undermined.”
“He (Putin – ed.) must not only live with the consequences of what he is doing with Ukraine, but also with the consequences of what he has done with his own army,” Wallace said.
