The troops of the Libyan General Haftar have only one goal: they want to defeat the internationally recognized Libyan government of Fajes al-Sarradsch. The war is increasingly waged from the air. Haftar uses Chinese wing loong drones supplied by the United Arab Emirates.
A humanitarian disaster is therefore imminent on Europe’s doorstep. Malta is now demanding an “immediate humanitarian mission” from the EU.
