The complaints allege trademark infringement related to her cosmetics line and broader financial crimes, including aggravated tax evasion and money laundering.
The legal issues surfaced as Nara resumes her public profile, currently hosting a cooking reality show and reportedly negotiating a multi-year contract with Telefe.while publicly expressing openness to a future amicable relationship with ex-partner Mauro Icardi, Nara is simultaneously contending with accusations that could significantly impact her business interests.
According to reports from América TV’s INFAMA, businessmen Diego and Ramiro Rubio have accused Nara of “brand usurpation” concerning her “Wanda Cosmetics” and “W Cosmetics” lines. The Rubios claim thay originally registered the trademarks in 2016, having previously used them during a relationship with a woman named Wanda. They allege Nara’s use of the brands is preventing them from selling their own products.
“Basically he is violating my brand.We did several mediations, but he onyl showed up to one,” one of the entrepreneurs reportedly stated. The Rubios have filed demands for both fraud and violation of trademark law.
Separately, an NGO has reportedly filed complaints against Nara alleging aggravated tax evasion, money laundering, and other economic crimes, according to mediatic.com.ar. Details of this complaint remain limited.
