Wamos Air will open the first direct flight between Madrid and Orlando from June 27 to August 22 with a weekly frequency on Saturdays, as you can advance in scoop preferente.com, on a route that will operate an Airbus 330-300 of 375 passengers that the airline will receive next April.

Wamos Air, commanded by Enrique Saiz, opens this destination to join the three of the Caribbean where it already operates – Punta Cana, Cancun and Cuba -, while Evelop had announced that this summer it will also premiere a route to Costa Rica after also operating in the same three destinations of the integrated airline in Springwater.

Wamos Air, which will rely on its tour operator Wamos Tours for this flight, seeks to expand its family tourism ticket thanks to flying to a destination famous for its more than 30 theme, water and leisure parks, among which Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort especially stand out.

Wamos Air, which is already a European leader in wet lease, will also receive support from its retailer Nautalia for this new route to the destination of Florida, an agency that is increasingly diversifying its activity with its Leisure, Corporate, Nautalia Live and Square (Wamos: first and last landing of a Jumbo in Lleida).

The new W30 Air A330-300 will feature completely renovated interiors. It will also have individual screens with a state-of-the-art entertainment system and a variety of movie content to make the trip more enjoyable.

Air Europa and Evelop, as revealed preferente.comThey were surprised to expand their number of flights to Cancun and Punta Cana this summer, after last year they had already expanded their capacity compared to the previous year, and the Spanish market only reacted after large discounts.

Globalia and Barceló Group airlines were also surprised to see this expansion following the merger of Ávoris with the issuers of the Hidalgo family group, which expects to receive authorization from the Competition regulators in the coming months.

Air Europa, as proven REPORTUR.mx, added from June one more flight to Cancun and Punta Cana, to reach six or even seven weeks in a few weeks, which in the case of the Dominican destination has drawn attention especially because the airline has a wide activity at the airport from Santo Domingo, where its expected future owner, Iberia, also flies.
