French Performance Art Troupe ‘Lafailles Etablissements’ to Stage unexpected Appearances at Dornbirn Train Station
Dornbirn, Austria – On Friday, September 12, 2025, commuters and travelers at Dornbirn train station will encounter an unusual spectacle: a walking act performance by France‘s Lafailles Etablissements. The artists, Tony Noyers and David Robichon, will present two 30-minute performances sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., offering an unpredictable element to the daily routine of the station.
The performance, titled “very Lost,” explores themes of displacement and vulnerability within everyday public spaces. Lafailles Etablissements’ work centers on the precariousness of existence, portraying characters adrift in environments ranging from woodlands to bus stops. The deliberately ambiguous timing of the performances encourages audiences to remain observant and embrace the unexpected, mirroring the artists’ own sense of being “neither in the right place nor at the right time.” Photographs of the troupe’s work are credited to Jeff Rabillon.
