“Dear employees, dear colleagues,
practically the whole world is facing the gigantic challenge of the corona virus these days. So do we at Volkswagen. We therefore make unusual and also uncomfortable decisions. But we, the board of directors and the works council, want to give you and you a clear message at this point: everything we do together to combat the corona virus serves your and your health, the health of your colleagues and the health of your relatives.

We on the board and the works council are aware that many of you find some of the precautions restrictive and that some of the usual procedures are delayed.
