Volunteers Clean Up After Pentecost Carnival in Decize

After Pentecost.
On the initiative of two elected officials from the town hall of Decize, Philippe Rollin, deputy for the environment, and Julien Maillard, delegated councilor for associative life and referent of the green station label, a call was launched for volunteers wishing to participate in the cleaning of nature. This call, launched in the direction of the decizois associations and the elected officials of the municipal council, was intended to perfect the collection of waste already carried out within the perimeter of the carnival, and in particular around the old Loire. Equipped with a collection kit, gloves and garbage bags, the volunteers surveyed the area concerned. A few bags were filled, but not enough in the end, considering the thousands of visitors who came to have fun and eat during these three days.
