Vodafone has secured a major partnership with UEFA, becoming the official telecommunications partner of all UEFA club competitions including the Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League, effective immediately. The multi-year agreement,announced September 12,2025,will see Vodafone leverage its 5G network and digital solutions to enhance the fan experience across Europe.
The collaboration arrives as UEFA continues to innovate its broadcast and digital offerings, and as Vodafone seeks to deepen its engagement with the passionate football fanbase. The partnership encompasses branding visibility during matches, exclusive content for Vodafone customers, and joint initiatives focused on connectivity and technological advancements within the sport. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but industry analysts estimate the agreement to be a significant revenue stream for UEFA, supporting ongoing investment in European football.
Beyond standard branding, Vodafone will work with UEFA to deliver enhanced matchday experiences through its network infrastructure. This includes improved connectivity for media and broadcasters, as well as opportunities to create immersive fan activations utilizing 5G technology. Vodafone will also collaborate with UEFA Foundation for Children, supporting its social responsibility programs.
