Vlahovic’s road to Juventus has been disrupted by COVID-19

Jakarta

Dusan Vlahovic reportedly has been released Fiorentina to Juventus. The transfer process was a bit late due to COVID-19.

Juventus and Fiorentina reportedly agreed a transfer worth 75 million euros. Vlahovic will sign a five-year contract with a value of 7 million euros per year.

Vlahovic is currently at his home in Florence after testing positive for COVID last week. This made the Serbian man absent when Fiorentina balanced Cagliari 1-1.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Vlahovic will undergo a medical with Juventus after his swab test result came back negative. The Old Lady hopes that the striker, who will turn 22 on January 28, can fly to Turin this weekend.

Despite not being able to meet Vlahovic, a contract agreement was reportedly signed by his agent today.

Dusan Vlahovic impressed in 2021, scoring 33 goals in 43 games for Fiorentina. This season he has scored 17 goals in 21 appearances in the Italian League and topped the list of top scorers with Ciro Immobile (Lazio).

Vlahovic is actually not only targeted by Juventus. Arsenal in the last month has been widely reported to want to bring Vlahovic and offers have also been submitted.
