Vladimir Paz de la Barra, former dean of the Lima Bar Association, passed away

Vladimir Paz de la Barra, former dean of the Bar Association of Lima and former member of the deactivated National Council of the Magistracy (CNM), died this Saturday at a local clinic.

The Municipality of La Molina, whose mayor Álvaro Paz de la Barra is the son of the deceased, confirmed the death, with a posthumous message on his social networks.

The Alliance for Progress political party (APP) regretted, also in a message on social networks, the death of who was its organizing secretary.

Paz de la Barra fue member of the disappeared National Council of the Magistracy (CNM), an institution that he irrevocably resigned in September 2014, after the plenary session of that body rejected his request to suspend the then prosecutor of the Nation, Carlos Ramos Heredia.
