The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC has arrived and many smartphone makers immediately unveiled their flagship. Most of them took the opportunity to launch brand new smartphones. On the other hand, Vivo plans to launch a new version of its foldable phone. It will come with the Vivo X Fold + moniker.

According to rumors, the Vivo X Fold + packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It will have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The device has a 4,730mAh battery, which is excellent considering the design challenges. Additionally, the phone has 80W charging and 50W wireless charging. The device panel will also have a 120Hz refresh rate.
Unfortunately, the Vivo X Fold + may remain a Chinese market exclusive just like its predecessor. For global customers, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip3 are still the only options in the foldable segment.
