Vivo T2 Launches May 23, Smartphone Renders Are Out

Selular.ID – Vivo had announced the T1 5G last October. Now, the company is reportedly working on a successor. According to tipster Bald is Panda, the Vivo T2 will be announced on May 23 in China. And renders of this smartphone are circulating through retailers.

The Vivo T2 5G is now listed for reservation on Vivo China’s website, Suning. According to tipster WHY LAB, the Vivo T2 will be a rebranded version of the Snapdragon 870-powered iQOO Neo6 SE, which debuted recently in China.

Earlier this month, a publication spotted the IMEI database listing of the Vivo T2. The listing only reveals the name of the device and hints that it will debut soon.

It is also expected to bring support for 5G connectivity. When the launch is getting closer, there is no information about more detailed specifications.

As an illustration, the Vivo T1 5G features a 6.67-inch LCD screen that offers Full HD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 11 OS and OriginOS. For selfies.

The Vivo T1 comes with a 16-megapixel camera and the back panel houses a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The device powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.

It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. For security, it offers a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
